Lovely literary adaptation with class issues, battle scenes. 33 of 41 people found this review helpful. Does it have wonderful acting? I would swear that the five star review I just read must've been somebody who worked on the production, more like an advert than a real reaction. [Spoiler Warning] After she loses her family, Becky ends up as a card dealer in German casino.

In the ensuing Battle of Waterloo, George is killed and Rawdon survives.

I know part of this is Thackeray's problem and not Nair's, but...seriously? But as war clouds gather, everyone's fortunes take a tumble….
