My 6-year-old is reading above and beyond her grade level and the school provides a number of field trips and arts experiences to expand her horizons. Students We stuck around for preschool. The traditions are another big think i like about Frankfort High. The school was not very large (my class graduated with 19 students), so each class became like a family and people all had to get to know each other whether it was intentional or not. When I was just beginning high school, I was told that I needed to pick a pathway (from about 7-10 choices) and complete a handful of classes in that pathway to graduate. My only criticism would be of the "pathway" program. Senior: While I may not have lived in Kentucky my whole life or grown up in this area, since moving to Lexington and beginning school at Frederick Douglass High School I have never felt more at home.
