The simple but precise printables available here are spot on, now I don’t have to search 101 websites for suitable pictures to help my boys remember their timeline. I haven’t listened to the whole thing, but I believe it is just an introduction to the curriculum for those who might be considering purchasing it. We just started on MOH 1 and really like it. We are also using the Illustrated Children’s Bible when the lesson coresponds with something that was recorded in the bible. We also have coloring pages for smaller children, stickers for older children, and a memory game to help it all stick! Yay We will definitely use this resource with our Sonlight and MOH studies.

Since we’ve been using the program for a little over a month now, I thought I’d post about what parts we are actually “Using” and what parts aren’t getting used as much. I personally find it easier for me to teach when I can smoothly transition from one subject to the next AND they all tie together. The resources and products I create are designed to keep the prep to a minimum while also bringing a little educational fun to your classroom.
I’m debating on the folder books for the next time. The quizzes are kept in the binder once they are completed in the appropriate tab and used to study for the exams.
Each binder has 9 clear tabbed pocket index dividers for the worksheets, maps etc that are placed behind the appropriate sections. The binders are kept in their rolling carts, which are placed beside their desks.
The timeline is from Miller Pads and Paper, they are $8.99, or 2 for $16. I purchased a used set from another homeschooler off ebay who was done with the product, and this cd was included with the package she sold me. I just wanted to say i thought they would own each character more in their memories if they made their own timeline figure. I spend a great deal of time printing the worksheets,maps, timelines, notebooking pages, memory for each quarter so my children are not waiting for any printables and can get to work straight away after each lesson. For the younger students, these supplementals are not necessary at all, maybe except for the coloring pages. Believe me, this is a lot of work that is already completed for you, so I really did look over her lists of books and selected what I wanted my children to read for each textbook. If you haven’t been able to attend a homeschool convention, you don’t have to miss out.
I have a couple of globes in our classroom.

By the time my son was in middle school and my daughters were 3rd and 5th grades, I had to begin again with MOH volume 1 as Volume 4 had not yet been completed. Do not be intimidated by this at all.
