Shapechanger   Typing up really long chunks of text or taking pictures of every page is excessive. I believe all the cliche giants are there, with Rune giants. I always thought amurrun is supposed to be onomatopoeia(correct word?) It is believed locally that is why Buott and Amarualik experienced this disorientation.

After a while, the woman's father go… CR 3 Rakshasa   As in "ama gonna run away from people who are a little too excited about Catfolk.". A monster most every weekday.

Few can honestly claim to have ever seen an ijiraq's true face, as the creatures wear skulls taken from impressive specimens of their alternate forms as masks. The save DC is Charisma -based. A local hunter with considerable local knowledge, Mark Amarualik, also of Resolute Bay, was said to have experienced this disorientation in the same place on a hunting trip a year before. They did a good job of making creatures much more distinct and memorable than in the 1st edition Bestiary.  Elemental Plane of Earth   According to the small handful of surviving elders in the South Baffin Region that are knew these beliefs, the Inuit that are settled in Resolute Bay and Grise Fiord are these shape shifters or shadow people, because they went too far north.

One of the most noted places in the Arctic for sightings of these shape shifters (and tariaksuq) is the Freeman's Cove area of Tuktusirvik (place to hunt caribou), Bathurst Island (Nunavut). Likewise, different dragons are given more distinguishing abilities other than breath weapon type and resistances.

Pretty much every creature has at least one interestingly distinct ability which makes it play differently in combat.  Space

L’ijiraq peut utiliser la compétence de Discrétion même lorsqu’il est observé. Many communities who interact with them revere them as bringers of food and medicine, as well as protectors of crops. CR 5

CR 15 Are rune giants listed speaking only Thassilon now that setting generic bestiaries aren't a thing? Devils: lemure, imp, barbazu, erinys, contract devils, ice devils, and pit fiends.

CR 17 Aether   The Ijiraq is one of a race of creatures with origins in Inuit mythology, legend and folklore. Average (CR ) The following creatures are presented in alphabetical order. From familiar enemies like orcs, dragons, and vampires to new horrors like the nightmarish nilith and the three-headed mukradi, to suitable servants for summoners of every alignment, this must-have companion to the Pathfinder Core Rulebook is crawling with creatures to challenge characters of any level. They are sometimes helpful, sometimes fatally deceptive. Swarm

One real-world explanation for this Inuit spirit. Augmented

As long as it's standing in terrain covered in ice or snow, an ijiraq can hide itself from view in the open without actually hiding behind anything.

Grippli   Second Ed's bestiary line is off to a solid start with a huge catalog of monsters and NPC races that are so well curated that I almost wonder what they'd possibly put in the next book. CR 19 Giant   Gray   :D. Amarruns.  Temperate

also, please change the model of the Chimera, it is so silly in the D&D version, much awesome things can be done with the Chimerae, it would be a shame to see the D&D copy clone again, this is pathfinder after all, and Chimerae are from mythology, not from D&D. Anybody know if Positive/Negative Energy Elementals made it into B1?

This corroborates the thought that the gas is responsible for these occurrences.  Lands   Psychopomp   Can you put in Occult Adventures classes/skills/spells for Pathfinder? 20”? You are viewing the legacy Pathfinder Reference Document website. CR 25

The save DC is Charisma-based. That creature takes a –20 penalty on Perception checks and Survival checks for 24 hours (Fortitude DC 23 negates). The monster stats are now more legible, easier to use, shorter and yet incredibly more interesting than before! We are expressly prohibited from charging you to use or access this content.

CR 20 Hide in Plain Sight (Su) An ijiraq can use the Stealth skill even while being observed. Michael Bay was consulted for the Leshies I believe. ^ That'd be...interesting, especially since we don't know which & how many of the monsters have been revamped for P2... For me, I'd be perfectly happy with a list of the monsters (including type &/or monster group, e.g.

Are there any Div's and Daemons in this bestiary?  Planes   I hope it is the Sangudaemon, Phasmadeamon, Leukodaemon, Thanadeamon, Purrodaemon, Meladaemon and Crucidaemon.  Elemental Plane of Fire   The save DC is Charisma-based. humanoid life. CR 2

Forests   The Inuit believe the Ijirait do this to confuse Inuit (people), and to keep them from moving into their areas. Gorgeous full-color illustrations on nearly every page!

All of the art is brand new, with some monsters being scarier (the cover hydra, and the Otyugh, now a rather fierce sewer doggo) to adorable (I LOVE the Kobold redesign, they're like plushies!).

One plausible explanation for this unusual phenomenon is likely related to large deposits of sour gas, of which can be disturbed by simply walking over top of the pockets, causing them to expel the toxic gas hydrogen sulphide.  Planes (Dream)   Archon    Animal
