Even with this moveset, I'd still say go ahead and power up your Blissey. From Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia.

Zen Headbutt is actually the better defensive quick move, even in situations where Pound gets STAB. Minimize, Sing, or even Healing Wish(much, much later on) could be neat. I'd recommend the second moveset more partially because Leftovers isn't available until much later and partially because Seismic Toss is probably your best bet for damage in most cases (Blissey's Sp. In attacking, Pound/Hyper Beam the way to go) I guess me not being specific enough got 2 thumbs down). That's a little bit further, I think 2 gyms away, but still not too far from where you are.

Just wanted to point out that you may not want to use seismic toss on Blissey until much later, it deals a fixed amount based on your level, which right now is not that high. Fling will do absolutely nothing off of Blissey's base 10 attack, even with an Iron Ball or a fossil. ), and if wrong infomation is given knowing it is wrong. Most people, including myself, think HB is a worthless defensive move, as it is easy to dodge. If all you want is a quick reference for the absolute best moveset for the most powerful Pokémon (CP) in Pokémon Go as the game stands today, here it is.

I don't think that any AI changes should have made a drastic difference in the way defensive DPS is calculated. ZH has 3.87 defensive DPS, whereas Pound gets 2.69 before STAB (3.36 def DPS w/ STAB). I was planning on making it a Toxic Tank, but realized (a little too late) that Toxic is a TM I can get only much later. There's no much info about the Best Tank regarding moveset. I don't have the numbers sitting in front of me, but the difference is damage is very small, so for a few single attacks, there is not much difference.

Now let us regard HB on Blissey. Taking all this in to account, Your sentence. Something like this is what I had in mind, but feel free to rework it with whatever resources I have at my disposal: - Fling (power 130 with Iron Ball, right? Free Remote Raid Passes Every Monday in October, "The Feeling of…, Pokemon Go's Temporary Bonuses Changing Soon, Pokemon Home - Pokemon Go Integration Coming By End of 2020, Shiny Mel…, Players Successfully Unlock Mega Houndoom, Events, Raid Bosses, Research Breakthrough and More Confirmed for Octo…, Omega Porygon-Z: The Hidden Potential of Tri-Attack, I just caught a slowpoke with max stats. I've only finished 3 gyms yet.

Blissey can only learn these moves in previous generations. Zen headbutt is better for a defending Blissey, because it does more damage per hit. Hyper-beam pushers are liars. The only defenders that can still slow things down are Blissey and, to a lesser extent, Snorlax and Chansey. Preliminary numbers and what not suggest that Zen Headbutt + Dazzling Gleam is the best defense moveset for Blissey, but anything with Zen Headbutt is pretty good.

Hi, I'm new here and want to share knowledge. I dunno. For killing is.. Ah yeah, I think your right. Does it make sense to have a Sharpedo with Poison Fang in the team and switch into a Blissey wall after poisoning? If we compare the numbers, pound is actually slightly better, even if we assume SE against fighting types. Is a Calm Mind TM or move tutor available in the game?

But yesterday I evolved two Chanseys to Blisseys and got Zen Headbutt + Dazzling Gleam for one and Pound + Dazzling Gleam for the other.

Does this means those movesets are in fact very good?

Would have loved to have a Counter Blissey too, but I can't go to the trouble of breeding one, then mining for another Oval Stone and then evolving and leveling it up. I have an Iron Ball, which I was planning on coupling with Fling. (2) the knowlegde, that it is wrong.

Currently running it with…, I was doing a Remote Zapdos raid, and I already have low expectations… I started…, Shot in the dark, but I’m hoping to be wrong. But for people like me who are too lazy to breed another Happiny, what is the best level-up + early game TM moveset for a Natural Cure Blissey? This page was last edited on 8 November 2019, at 23:34. Pokémon is Copyright Gamefreak, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company 2001-2018. Flareon: Any moveset with Fire Spin or Overheat but the best moveset is Fire Spin/Overheat (No weaknesses to any of Blissey movesets and has some of the highest DPS in the game) Primape/Hitmonchan: Counter/Close Combat (Requires excellent dodging but these are common prestigers and can actually deal significant damage to Blissey, prioritize against Blissey using Pound) And also the motivation: I've decided to breed. It should be a consistent 3/4HKO throughout the game as long as you keep your Blissey as high a level as it can be. A lie needs two aspects (Update: In terms of defense. Read on for tips on the best Nature, EV spreads, Movesets, and Held Items to use with Blissey, as well as its strengths and weak points. Click on the generation numbers at the top to see Egg moves from other generations, A black abbreviation in a colored box indicates that Blissey can be tutored the move in that game, A colored abbreviation in a white box indicates that Blissey cannot be tutored the move in that game, Click on the generation numbers at the top to see Move Tutor moves from other generations, Click on the generation numbers at the top to see moves from other generations.

It is worth noting that there's a mod which lets you relearn egg moves at the move relearner in Obsidia. I personally think that zen hb/dazzling gleam are the best, but there is room for debate. Like hyperbeam, psychic is a single bar charged move, but doesn't do nearly as much damage as hyperbeam. Chansey's strongest moveset is Pound & Hyper Beam and it has a Max CP of 1,255. There's no much info about the Best Tank regarding moveset.

However, over the course of 90 seconds, pound actually does 27.5 more damage. Chansey evolves into Blissey.

In metagames past, Blissey struck fear - or at least mild annoyance - in the hearts of prospective attackers, being by far the best defender species in Pokemon GO. Moves marked with a dagger (†) can only be bred onto Blissey if it hatches as a Happiny, and cannot be obtained otherwise. I'd say ZH-Psychic is pretty much on par with Hyper Beam, the former lacks STAB but is a bit trickier to dodge and covers fighting type weakness. But that area isn't accessible yet, is it?

Hi, I'm new here and want to share knowledge. As for calm mind you can get it from Radomus on a previous episode, but the TM is removed when you update to E18.

(1) is fullfilled for following cases Seismic Toss should be available if you've got a mining kit since that means you have Rock Smash too. Just based on that alone, I think DG is the best attack. Heal Bell/Aromatherapy isn't an awful egg move to consider since you don't really have many other good options this early. This is what matters for a defending Blissey, since it attacks so slowly. So now I am doing the *** kicking, though I don't get to watch, unfortunately. Blissey is the BEST gym defender in the current metagame by far. Also Blissey is made for taking damage, not doing it.

Pound/HB is probably the worst moveset for Blissey. Charge Beam also exists. Those numbers may have been offensive DPS. Psychic moves are super effective against fighting, but this only ups the damage the same amount as STAB would, and doesn't work for all Pokemon that might be fighting it. (lol…Let’s GO home…) Do you need a…, I have a level 24 G-O that I want to develop for the ML.

TL;DR: Best counters for Pokémon Go Gym Defenders Most players can blast through most Gyms these days, at least most of the time. Please feel free to suggest absolutely any changes, including in the held item. Round is a TM you can get with 4 stickers and will be your best attacking move for a long while. is wrong. It doesn't take as long as you'd expect, actually; IIRC since Happiny is a baby Pokemon you'd need an incense to get it, meaning you'll get Chansey when you breed and won't need to mine a new Oval Stone. Should I evolve a slowking to stick in gyms…, How will the integration of Pokémon GO/Home work?

From what I understand here: it has been moved to the wastelands.

I also think Blissey is for making loose time not for killing. Oh, did Mawile get moved to the wastelands? @satchit. Also, which of these movesets would you recommend, considering both were available to me? Psychic is also good because it is generally SE against fighting types, and is also tricky to dodge, but doesn't fire as often as DG. I have one with the same moveset, and I chose to power it up. Pound only has better DPS when using a Blissey to attack. It’s only weak to fighting … Even if you do need to breed to Happiny for some reason, the Oval Stone isn't too uncommon so you can just reset in front of a glowing rock until you get one.

Light Screen at level 50 and Sing at 31 are probably your other best moves. (2) is only fulfilled, if the situation is clearly specified (1a?) About "Blissey senses sadness with its fluffy coat of fur. People say it's Pund and Hyperbeam because of Stab but I have a Blissey 1360 88.9% 11-15-14 with Zen Headbutt and Works for me, both my Blisseys have zen headbutt :).
