The Black Student Union (BSU) is an independent club at Saint Rose that promotes unity and social consciousness among the student body. We provide a space for students to have freedom of expression, through open discussion and creative interpretations, that bring our community one step closer toward harmony and acceptance of each other, regardless of race and ethnicity. During a September Black Student Union meeting, a film was shown which sparked a lively and powerful discussion about several topics related to African American culture and experiences.
BSU also works to ensure that students concerns related to of the African Diaspora at FIU are addressed to the Student Government Association and Administration.
