Yet the old man and I apologize I can't just remember his name on the Fly said that the only person to defeat Yujiro is Baki. He was cloned from tissue in his spine, and Sabuko Tokugawa infused that empty clone with Musashi´s Soul, thus giving him his former memories and skills. Anyway, this made me wonder: 1)Does anyone have any theories on whether Yujiro ever beat his dad before he passed?

Neither. Even by accident. It does have a little bit too much dialog for a fight show (but that is not a deal breaker).

Anyway, this made me wonder: 1)Does anyone have any theories on whether Yujiro … Press J to jump to the feed. But the will is indomitable.

Factoring that in, and the fact Baki is usually pretty humble in defeat, of course he would renounce the title, since he knows he didn't actually win the fight. A lot of baki's philosophy is that you don't win against someone by beating him physically, but by imposing your will upon him : baki's victory against Oliva and Ali are not only by beating them, but by proving them their way of thinking or living is wrong. But during the series, its mentioned that Yujiro is constantly getting stronger, so do you think Baki would ever beat him? ), because he wants to see his growth. That was also the entire point of the prisonner arc. I could never see Doppo breaking Yujiro's jaw, like, ever.

Yujiro Hanma (範馬 勇次郎, Hanma Yujirō) is Baki and Jack Hanma's father. On the Baki wiki, it says that Yuichiro was possibly the one man that Yujiro could never defeat (which implies that they fought, maybe????). He's accomplished his goal, and so the title of strongest means even less now. The legendary samurai Musashi Miyamoto is said to be the strongest of his time and possibly the strongest samurai ever. Yujiro is the son of Yuichiro Hanma, and also the strongest character in the series. But Baki was able to make him believe the imaginary soup was real. Or the flesh ? R2: This could be a challenge, but Yujiro still dominates them..... R3: This could be a hard one......... but I would have to say Ultimate Kars because of his ability to have Hamon as powerful as the sun.

This manga/anime is testosterone to the eyeballs we all know it. Ultimate KarsR4: round 1 except it's a flexing contest, Cant pillar men just eat through non harmon infused people just by bumping into them, That assumes they can lay their hands on him. And, honestly, it looked like Yujiro was scared (maybe he was just surprised because his dad was supposed to be dead?) I'm sorry though this question irritates you because it's been awhile since I've read it and I just wanted someone with a bit more information to give me more context to refresh my memory. R4: *Yujiro shows his back* Pillar Men: NANI!?!??!?!?! He's in terrible shape, not only exhausted but he's wounded pretty badly. 2) On another note: I know Yujiro specifically had children because he wanted someone that was stronger than him. I think the deal with Yujiro admitting to no longer being the strongest creature is because baki achieved that level of strength much sooner than he did. Anyone who says Baki won the fight literally skipped pages, or ignored panels completely, there are numerous times in the fight where Baki is given a chance to perform techniques, and Yujiro just allows it (even giving him advice during and after! You are indeed where you belong. I really liked you explanation, thanks so much, scarocci. There's only one moment where Yujiro has to get serious, but that's it...for a moment. They’re doing their level best to outfight the other. (Like that fight he threw against that wrestler for money in the Gaiden), so as you said, maybe he didn't allowed Yujiro to fight him (Or Yujiro was the one who didn't want to fight because he knew he didn't stand a chance). Yujiro works as a highly-paid freelance mercenary and assassin for various governments and organizations.

Baki however, doesn't seem to care about that at all. Flesh grows weak. He lost to Retsu who made him realize that he never truly won a fight, by attacking weaker opponents or "cheating" against stronger one. Or is it because his dad - who is mentioned as being the complete opposite of Yujiro and more peaceful - knew he was stronger but just decided not to beat up his own son to prove it , causing Yujiro to seek other challenges out of frustration? The serie share this point of view with another extremely manly and testosterone piece of literrature : Conan the Barbarian. To the death, no prep time, at night, neutral playing field. If he had been going 100% from the start Baki would not have lasted long at all. By making yujiro believe the soup was real, he suceed into imposing hiw will.

Dorian didn't truly "lost" to Doppo. Yujiro said Baki won because he was able to make him believe the imaginary soup was real (yujiro thinking it was too salty).

Musashi Miyamoto (宮本 武蔵, Miyamoto Musashi ) is a character and the main opponent from manga series of Baki-Dou. And I think Yujiro knows this too because when Baki and his girlfriend (what happened to her anyway? I know Yujiro was fighting during the war at 16, is this because he already beat his dad and he was looking for something more challenging?

Steel becomes brittle. I understand that everyone said Baki is the strongest creature alive but after I went back to see the fight and they said he's the strongest creature after he survived the fight against his father but he himself admitted defeat to Yujiro. Round one: Just straight up hand to hand fighting no Muso Tensei for Ken or Demon Back fro Yujiro.

Anyone who says Baki won is just statements>feats, which makes no sense at all in this series.

Yujiro realised that Baki, now, is someone who is on his tier, and one day could be closer as an equal than anyone in quite some time. Also about Doppo and the jaw thing, well... in Baki Dou, I think Musashi said that Doppo could have decapitated him with a single kick, just saying.

If you love to imagine the planet-exploding battles of the fictional gods who will never be, taking pointless knowledge gathered from a life spent reading and gaming and swinging it like a gladiator's sword in discussions on reddit... then welcome home, my friend.

During the Yujiro-Baki fight, the ghost (I think?

I honestly dont think Baki will ever catch up because Yujiro just doesn't seem human (he was literally born with his eyes open and fangs). so lets post pictures and enjoy Hanma Baki! lol) of Yujiro's father appears.
