TL:DR; 1111 was made arbitrarily, its been perpetuated without real reason, and three characters are being denied play because of it.

Some people like to use a character's "neglected" special move as a mixup or as a general addition to their playstyle (a good example can be seen with Yoshi mains who use his Side B, a generally unsafe move, as a shield pressure move or a mixup approach). plus mii size no longer factors into the effectiveness of their moves, thus just about everything that caused issues in the past is gone, you should be good to go unless it's some small local tournament with a really stubborn TO. Regardless of what customs I equip, my Fox still shoots projectiles, still recovers vertically and horizontally with his up B, still reflects projectiles, etc.

The only issue would be the custom movesets but you can just show your opponent what moves you have either by doing them before you start fighting, or going to the pause menu’s move lost, which, if selected by the Mii Fighter player, shows their move set instead of the default (unless it is the default, in which case it’ll show that).
